When a metal walkway is the right choice
A walkway is not ‘a horizontal ladder’. It is an elevated work path: it must be calculated based on the load of people and materials passing over it and made compliant with railings and anti-slip walking surfaces.
It is needed when you have to cross, inspect, or connect different levels without descending to the ground.
Demountable walkways, calculated and complete with railings
The MCT walkway is designed to be demountable: interlocking or bolted metal elements, with custom clear spans.
It is not a standard pre-assembled unit to be adapted. We calculate it based on your clear span and loads, and deliver it complete with railings and walking surface.

From site survey to final testing, without intermediaries
Our technical department calculates the walkway, and our teams install it: the designer is also the installer. When a constraint emerges on site that was not visible during the survey (a level, an obstruction, an anchorage), it is resolved on the spot, without waiting for a third-party supplier.
What we achieve is a short supply chain: a single point of contact, changes managed in real time, and clear responsibility at every stage.
Compliance and Safety of Metal Walkways
A walkway is an elevated workplace: railings, operating load, and anti-slip features are not options. We calculate it according to Technical Construction Standards and, where exposed, for snow and wind loads; for permanent outdoor installations, we prepare documentation for any necessary building permits.
