Design of Metal Structures
From snow-wind load calculations to final testing, a single point of contact. We design, manufacture, assemble, and maintain canopies, warehouses, walkways, and stairs: structural calculations, building permit procedures, and assembly with in-house teams. No hand-offs, no shifting of responsibility.
An outdoor structure is not just a product to be delivered; it’s a project to be signed off on. Entrusting a canopy or warehouse to a reseller or subcontractor means separating those who calculate, those who assemble, and those who should follow up with inspections. For a structure that withstands snow, wind, and people, responsibility must not be dispersed.
We manage the entire cycle: structure design at our facilities in Mornico al Serio (Bergamo), manufacturing, installation, and maintenance. We start with an on-site inspection, explain what you truly need, then execute the project and provide ongoing support.
Custom Design of Metal Structures.
Design doesn’t start with size; it starts with your site’s loads. An external metal structure must be calculated based on snow and wind, and seismic activity where required—it’s not chosen from a catalog by size. We begin with an on-site inspection, analyze the location, exposure, and the clear spans you need, then dimension the structure, roofing, and treatments based on this data.
Our in-house technical office (200 sq m) performs the calculations according to NTC. And since a SCIA (Certified Notification of Commencement of Works) or building permit is almost always required, we prepare the technical documentation for the application: it’s part of the project, not an additional cost that arises later.
Installation and Assembly of Metal Structures with In-House Teams.

The team that calculated it also installs it: this ensures that site constraints are resolved on the spot. Our in-house teams handle the assembly of structures. If a site constraint emerges during construction that wasn’t visible during the survey (a specific elevation, an underground utility, an obstruction), we contact the technical office and adapt the work in progress, without waiting for a distant supplier.
We plan assembly according to your schedule, even in phases.
In-house Technical Teams – No Subcontracting
On-site Modifications – decided in real-time with the technical department
Phased Assembly – planned around your production downtimes
Maintenance and Inspection of Metal Structures Over Time.
An external structure ages: it needs to be inspected before it fails. Canopies, warehouses, and walkways are exposed to weather, loads, and impacts; over time, anchors, corrosion, deformations, and the integrity of railings and roofing must be checked.
We conduct inspections, provide you with a report detailing status and priorities, and intervene where necessary: from touch-ups to structural adjustments. We know the structure because we calculated and installed it ourselves.
FAQ
Yes, for sheds and warehouses, we prepare the documentation for the SCIA or building permit as part of the project.
Always: dimensioning is carried out according to NTC standards for local snow and wind loads, including seismic calculations where required. This is handled by our in-house technical department.
We plan the installation in phases and according to your schedule to minimize downtime. We define this together during the site inspection.
It depends on the type (shed, warehouse, walkway, staircase), the spans, and the loads of the site. There is no one-size-fits-all price: we determine it after an on-site inspection, with an offer that includes structural calculations, building permits, installation, and (where required) testing.
Static testing, where required by regulations, is part of the technical process we manage through our internal engineering department: structural calculations according to NTC standards are the foundation. We define the necessary requirements for each case during the design phase.
Yes, we work on canopies, warehouses, and walkways from any manufacturer for inspections, adjustments, refurbishments, and expansions, beginning with an assessment of the existing structure’s condition.
